1. Overview
StudentHub is a subscription-based software service that provides read-only assignment tracking integrations with Canvas LMS. Payments are processed securely through our payment providers, including PayPal.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Individual Student Subscriptions (B2C)
2.1 Initial Monthly Subscription
You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided the service has not been substantially used and no abuse or fraud is detected.
2.2 Subscription Renewals
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable, as access is granted immediately at the beginning of each billing cycle.
However, we may consider renewal refund requests if submitted within 3 days of the renewal charge and if the service has not been substantially used during the new billing period.
3. Annual Plans (If Offered)
If you purchase an annual subscription, you may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
4. Institutional & Organizational Purchases (B2B)
For institutions, schools, or organizations, refund terms are governed by the applicable service agreement, invoice, or written contract.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, institutional payments are non-refundable once service access has been provisioned.
5. Free Trials (If Offered)
If a free trial is provided, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial ends to avoid being billed.
Charges occurring after a trial ends are considered valid and are generally non-refundable.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us before initiating a dispute with your payment provider. We are happy to review legitimate concerns.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is under review.
Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in permanent account termination.
8. Abuse & Fraud Prevention
Refunds may be denied in cases of abuse, repeated refund requests, multiple account creation to bypass subscription fees, or other suspicious activity.
9. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact:
Include your full name, account email, date of purchase, and a brief explanation of your request. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
